She is a regular speaker at universities and conferences including the Game Developers Conference, Austin Game Developers Conference, and Montreal Games Summit. My third quarter of graduate school, I had the honor of taking my Studio I class with Brenda Brathwaite, an award winning game designer. During her class, she encouraged us to research ideas, but for our overall project, stick with what you know. She also pushed me to go to conferences, hand out business cards, and most importantly, try to make as many contacts as possible. I enjoyed working with her so much, I decided that I would try to take as many classes with her as I could before my time at school ended.
